Light and Tone

Sounds, and the effects they produce, vary in intensity and may be interpreted differently from one setting to another.  Though the effects are not as pronounced, the same is true for artistic visual representations.

Additionally, as variation in lighting of scenes and objects produces aesthetic and emotional reactions in the visual arts, so tone color, acoustic clarity, and the character of aural images may be designed to evoke impressions that contribute to the poetic meanings of sound productions.
